Welcome To The Goodwill Partnership
A Will allows you to decide how your assets are divided amongst your family and friends and who should look after any dependants that you leave behind. Surprisingly, two-thirds of the adult population do not have a valid Will, leaving the courts to take these decisions on their behalf.
Mr & Mrs Palmer
We would like to thank The Goodwill Partnership for providing such a professional, friendly and hassle-free Will writing service. The entire process was easy, from booking the home appointment right the way through to receiving our completed Wills from the solicitor.
Mr & Mrs Clarke
The Goodwill Partnership arrived at the appointed time and couldn’t have been more courteous. The advisor explained all aspects of the Will-writing process clearly and succinctly. The whole process only took an hour and was exceptionally professional and straight-forward.
Mr & Mrs Wiltshire
Just to say thank you so much for providing a great service at a great price. In addition to this, we had the opportunity to leave a Legacy Gift to a number of charities we are very passionate about. Something we have been meaning to do for years! We have been telling all our friends about The Goodwill Partnership.
“Within just a few months of starting our relationship with The Goodwill Partnership, they have reported a 100% residual legacy and also two substantial pecuniary legacies from a married couple. We also know that many of our other supporters have found the home-visit will-writing service extremely helpful. Providing this service makes the complex process of will-writing so much easier for our supporters and also, for the first time, enables us to build up a picture of intended legacy gifts, helping us to budget for the future of the charity.”
“The service is available for everyone for peace of mind that their wishes will be adhered to and there is no obligation to leave a gift to Macmillan. We do know that the majority of people who have used the service have done so meaning that in the future Macmillan can continue to work to ensure no one faces cancer alone.” “Making a will is the only way to ensure things people care about are looked after if they pass away. For example, if a parent of a minor dies where there is no surviving parent or guardian, this could result in the child being put into care.”
“You probably realise how vital it is to have an up-to-date will and ensure your family, friends and the animals and special causes you care about are provided for. But you might be surprised by how straightforward and inexpensive it is to make proper arrangements for the future.”
“Gifts in Wills are a vital source of funding that enable Arthritis Care to continue to support the growing number of people often living in constant pain due to their arthritis. We are delighted our supporters can now benefit from the convenience of The Goodwill Partnership to make a solicitor-written Will.”
“Last year Oxfam helped 11.8 million people both in humanitarian emergencies, and through its longer term programmes, and we rely on the generosity of the British public to carry out this work. We know writing a will is a personal and private decision, and we are so grateful to people who support us in this way.”
“Making a will is not top of most people’s priority list but it is important and it doesn’t need to be a difficult or expensive task. By teaming up with The Goodwill Partnership, we are offering our supporters simple, cost effective ways to take action and get the job done. Of course we hope supporters might like to leave a gift to hearing dogs in their will but there is no obligation to do so. Half of every hearing dog partnership is paid for through gifts in wills so they are really important to us too!”
“Gifts in wills from generous supporters account for around 10% of our income and enable us to continue fighting cystic fibrosis until we beat it for good. We want to be able to offer supporters a low cost will scheme and, given we always recommend they seek the professional advice of a solicitor when writing or amending their will, we’re delighted they can now benefit from the convenience of The Goodwill Partnership’s home-visit will-writing service.”
“I’m delighted that we have found this service as their proven professionalism is necessary to help us in raising money for Goodwill. The fact that we are both called “Goodwill” is pure coincidence.”
The Goodwill Partnership also gives you the opportunity to leave a gift in your Will to a charity, or multiple charities. There is no obligation for you to do so, however any gift left in a Will – no matter how large or small – will help our charity partners to continue all of the amazing work they do, both now and in the future.
