Sense International is one of the leading organisations that supports children and adults with deafblindness and complex sensory impairments across a range of often resource poor countries: India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Peru and Romania.

We’ve come a long way since the days when children with deafblindness were labelled as ‘ineducable’ and ‘unreachable’.

However, we still have a long way to go. Around the world children with deafblindness are still missing out on things that many of us take for granted on a daily basis. We know that the right support can make a huge difference to the children and adults we support – and to their families.
