There are over 100,000 children and young people in care today in the UK.

The care system has the potential to change a child’s life for the better but at the moment it’s failing too many. Behind the statistics are young people who don’t have the support and guidance everyone needs to realise their potential.

For 30 years, we’ve stood shoulder to shoulder with children in care and young care leavers, helping them get the support they need.
Our mission is to help young people to make sense of the care system when they are in it, and to understand their options and support them when it’s time to leave.

We work in partnership with young people in care and care leavers to improve their lives and future life chances, giving them a platform to speak from a and a place to heal.

We provide advice and support, influence policy and practice, help guide young people & enable them to achieve their education aspirations, and train professionals that work with young people.

Care-experienced young people shape our work, and we give them a valuable platform to speak from.
