Working alongside our fantastic partners in the ambulance service, our crew begin critical treatments as soon as they arrive on scene. Delivering this lifesaving treatment well before a patient reaches hospital not only saves lives, it hugely increases their chances of making a full recovery.

Our crew of highly trained Critical Care Doctors and Specialist Paramedics in Critical Care are fully equipped to deliver a pre-hospital anaesthetic, start a blood transfusion, provide stronger pain relief than a typical ambulance crew are able to give, and even perform complex surgical procedures.

We cover 2.1 million people across Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. Our crew can be anywhere in the region within 20 minutes. As a local charity with no day-to-day funding from the Government or National Lottery, we are so grateful to everyone who makes a gift in their will.
