The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust does an incredible job for the people it serves, but there is a limit to what can be offered with the government funding it receives. That’s where the Royal Free Charity and gifts in wills come in.

Gifts in wills, left by our generous supporters like you enable us to invest in research that leads to better diagnoses and treatments, which in turn help improve survival rates for patients. They help us to fund innovative centres of medical excellence, such as NIHR Royal Free Clinical Research Facility (CRF) where patients can participate in trials for new, pioneering treatments. Gifts in wills also help fund complementary therapies that improve recovery rates and enhance patient experiences. Recent projects include:

• Funding new key research and patient treatments for renal and bladder diseases and breast and pancreatic cancers.
• Transformation of a children’s outpatient clinic into a colourful and cheerful environment with fun art work.

Without gifts in wills, and the generosity of our supporters, none of this is possible.

Leaving a gift in your will to the Royal Free Charity, no matter how large or small, is a straightforward way to make a real difference for many future patients.
