Last year, we supported 332 individuals and families living with asbestos-related conditions. But we believe as many as 500 people could benefit from our help each year if we had the resources to reach them all. Through our expert guidance, individuals and families are, on average, £24,500 better off thanks to the benefits support we provide. A key part of our service is offering trusted legal signposting to experts who can help people pursue compensation claims for exposure to asbestos at work. And, every service user and their family have access to emotional support including monthly groups and 1:1 sessions with our Family and Bereavement Support Worker.
