Alzheimer’s Research UK partners with Will-writing specialists The Goodwill Partnership

The Goodwill Partnership is proud to announce a partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK, the world’s leading dementia research charity dedicated to causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure.

Today, over 46 million people worldwide are living with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia. These complex brain diseases leave them unable to think, move or communicate with the people they love most. Dementia will soon become the leading cause of death in the UK and without effective treatments, one in three children born today will die with it.

Alzheimer’s Research UK believes that people with dementia and their families have been waiting too long for new treatments. Current medicines help improve symptoms for a time, but there is nothing available today that can slow or stop the diseases that cause dementia. People with dementia rightly expect more. And so does Alzheimer’s Research UK. Their mission is to bring about the first life-changing dementia treatment by 2025.

Currently, gifts in Wills fund one in three of their vital research projects. Every gift, large or small is used to bring about a world free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia. In the last hundred years, diseases that were once incurable have ceased to be a death sentence and through gifts in Wills, Alzheimer’s Research UK can make the same progress for people with dementia.
