Crossroads Care Surrey, a leading charity providing respite breaks for carers, joins The Goodwill Partnership

Crossroads Care Surrey aim to improve the quality of life of unpaid carers, those who look after a family member, relative, friend or neighbour because of long term physical or mental ill health or disability. Not only do they get a much-needed break they also have the peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in the safe, reliable and expert hands of Crossroad Care Surrey support workers.

Gifts in Wills are an important part of fundraising and with 1 in every 7 carers supported by Gifts in Wills they have a big impact on Crossroads Care Surrey. By joining The Goodwill Partnership, the charity can offer their supporters and volunteers a best practice, home visit Will writing service that will allow the supporter to leave a gift to the charity, although there is no obligation to do so.

“We are absolutely delighted to be working with The Goodwill Partnership to support our community with a will writing offer. Writing a will can be an expensive and difficult task if you do not have the right advice and support, as a result, many people put off getting their affairs in order. We are looking forward to making writing a will simple and we want to give people peace of mind by helping to them to get their affairs in order, including and especially the carers we support, within the comfort of their own home.”
