19 Sep BucksVision join The Goodwill Partnership
BucksVision a local charity supporting people with sight loss across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes has joined The Goodwill Partnership with immediate effect.
BucksVision, which has been operating for over 100 years, offer a wide range of services delivered by their small, dedicated staff team and fantastic team of volunteers. The services on offer include practical courses for those who are newly diagnosed or know that their sight will deteriorate significantly with time; social activities; support at home through befriending services; a resource room where we can demonstrate equipment including magnification; and general advice/information.
BucksVision relies on donations, whether large or small, to raise funds to help blind and partially sighted people lead independent and fulfilling lives. BucksVision’s partnership with The Goodwill Partnership will allow the organisation to offer low cost, home visit, solicitor provided Wills to its supporters and volunteers. The service also provides a detailed reporting structure of legacies left, to allow them to plan financially for the future with far more confidence.
Anne Mills, Fundraising Manager at BucksVision says, “We are delighted to be working with The Goodwill Partnership; as we don’t receive any government funding we would benefit hugely from legacies which would secure our future. We would be most grateful if you would consider leaving BucksVision a gift in your will so we can continue our work for another 100 years.”
Mark Jackson, Co-Founder of The Goodwill Partnership, says” The Goodwill Partnership is delighted to be partnering with BucksVision and hope our service will help generate legacy income that will benefit the charity for years to come”.
