The Goodwill Partnership takes a look back at 2016…

Like many of us, I am finding it difficult to comprehend just how quickly this year has come and (almost!) gone. We all have such busy day to day lifestyles, both at work and at home and I am sure that as we get older, time continues to accelerate at an even greater pace. The promise of a New Year, the awakening of Spring, the Summer holidays and the leaf fall of Autumn all fade into one and before we know it, Christmas Trees are appearing in the local garden centres once again!

Whilst we all rush forward towards Christmas, now is the time to take a few moments to reflect on the year that was. A great year for some, not so good for others. Happiness and Sadness. Good news and bad. Amazing achievements and missed opportunities. The Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations. Rio 2016. And let’s not forget two political events that certainly put 2016 on the map…Brexit & Trump for President!

For us, 2016 has been a year of development and growth. The Goodwill Partnership continues to work closely with our existing charity partners and we have been delighted to welcome so many new ones too. We continue to deliver the best possible service to our customers, helping them to write their Will(s) in an easy & cost effective way. A job many admit has been on the ‘to do’ list for months…if not years!

Each year, as we continue to partner with so many inspirational charities, we have the pleasure of meeting and working with an ever growing number of passionate, dedicated & professional individuals. Their enthusiasm never waivers and they all adopt an incredibly positive attitude towards working closely with us. In return, our support, commitment and enthusiasm towards them will never fade.

So, by way of finishing the last TGP BLOG of 2016, it is to all of you, our charity partners, our contacts and friends within the UK Charity Sector, that we would like to say a big THANK YOU. Thank you for your continued support. Thank you for your endless ideas and feedback. Thank you for your encouragement. Thank you for having the confidence in us to look after your Supporters. Thank you for all the work you do.

We look forward to sharing 2017 with you all.

Wishing all our Charity Partners and their Supporters, a very Merry Christmas and a healthy, Happy New Year.
