The Cure Parkinson’s Trust joins The Goodwill Partnership

The Goodwill Partnership the UK’s leading Will-writing service for charities is partnering with The Cure Parkinson’s Trust to offer Will-writing services to its supporters and volunteers.

The Cure Parkinson’s Trust is a leading Parkinson’s medical research charity, totally committed to slowing, stopping and reversing the condition and ultimately improving the lives of those affected by the disease.

Parkinson’s is a neurological disorder affecting around 145,000 people in the UK alone and yet symptoms are still treated with the same group of drugs that have been used for over 60 years. There is currently no approved treatment which can even slow down, let alone reverse or cure the condition.

Commencing immediately, The Goodwill Partnership will provide a best practice, home-visit, low cost, Solicitor provided Will to The Cure Parkinson’s Trust supporters and volunteers. Although there is no obligation for anyone to leave a gift to the charity in their Will, it is hoped that the partnership will raise additional funds for the charity’s vital research.

“The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT) is delighted to partner with The Goodwill Partnership. Leaving a gift in a Will to CPT will make a huge difference in our mission to find a cure for Parkinson’s, and will also provide vital support to other areas such as our regular research update meetings.” Helen Matthews, Deputy CEO of CPT

Mark Jackson, Co-Founder of The Goodwill Partnership, says: “We are very pleased to be partnering with The Cure Parkinson’s Trust and are delighted to be offering our Will-writing service to the charity’s supporters and volunteers to help provide income for their vital medical research”
