The Victoria and Albert Museum joins The Goodwill Partnership

The Victoria and Albert Museum has joined The Goodwill Partnership to offer home visit, best practice, solicitor provided Wills to its supporters and volunteers.

The V&A is the world’s leading museum of art, design and performance, housing a permanent collection of over 2.3 million objects that span over 5,000 years of human creativity. The Museum holds many of the UK’s national collections and houses some of the greatest resources for the study of architecture, furniture, fashion, textiles, photography, sculpture, painting, jewellery, glass, ceramics, books arts, Asian art and design, theatre and performance.

Donations left in Wills are a vital source of income for the work of the V&A. Each donation, small or large, helps to care for and conserve the collection, preserve the buildings that house it, educate the Museum’s varied visitors, produce world-renowned exhibitions and push the boundaries of academic learning and research.

Joining The Goodwill Partnership will provide easy and affordable access to those who may wish to leave a donation to the V&A in their Will

Julia Brown, Head of Legacy Giving says: “Each day the V&A strives to enrich people’s lives by promoting research, knowledge and enjoyment of the design world. Donations from Wills make a huge impact on our work and help to safeguard the V&A and our cultural heritage for the next generation. We are delighted to partner with The Goodwill Partnership so we can provide easy and affordable access to making a Will for those that wish to support us long into the future.

Mark Jackson, co-Founder of The Goodwill Partnership, says: “The V&A is a truly outstanding charity at the forefront of art and design and we are delighted to be partnering with them. We hope that through our service we can provide further income to help continue the fantastic work of the museum, to be enjoyed by future generations”.
